We’re hosting our next round of Huntsville Chess League. This a G/60 d5, USCF rated tournament. The entry fee is $30 and the prize fund is listed in the official rules. Last day to sign up is 1/15/2023 by 6 PM.
Suggested locations for playing include Huntsville Public Library, Madison Public Library, South Huntsville Library, or any local coffee shop (because who doesn’t love Coffeehouse Chess?!).
Schedule:
Round 1: 1/16 – 1/22
Round 2: 1/23 – 1/29
Round 3: 1/30 – 2/5
Round 4: 2/6– 2/12If your schedule is too busy one week, let Michael know of any half point byes that you need before he posts the pairings. Then you can still play the tournament and have a shot at a prize.

We’re hosting our 6th round of Huntsville Chess League. This a G/60 d5, USCF rated tournament. The entry fee is $30 and the prize fund is listed in the official rules. Last day to Sign up is 7/31.
Suggested locations for playing include Huntsville Public Library, Madison Public Library, South Huntsville Library, or any local coffee shop (because who doesn’t love Coffeehouse Chess?!).
Schedule:
Rounds are completed Monday – Sunday weekly beginning September 12th. The number of rounds are dependent on the number of players. This is a round-robin tournament which means every player will play every other player.If your schedule is too busy one week, you and your opponent can decide to play earlier or later than scheduled. If you and your opponent cannot agree on an alternate date, the person who cannot make that week will take an UNRATED forfeit. Then you can still play the tournament and have a shot at a prize.
